MidexPro: Product support
Demonstration movies
|
MidexPro has a set of Demonstration movies to get you up and
running quickly. There is a movie of about 5 minutes for each of the basic
functions.
Start the movies from the Demonstration movie button on the login
screen, select the movie to watch and your computer takes you through the
basic functions. It moves and clicks the mouse and types the text for
you, you just sit back and enjoy your very own training session.
After you have watched the movies, which you
can do at any time, you will be ready to move on and try things for yourself
in the Training mode. |
Training mode

MidexPro's Training mode gives you a pre-configured practice with sample
data: bills, letters, recalls, diary entries, etc. already entered, this makes
for quick and easy familiarization with the software so you get up and running
quickly. With some data pre-entered is it much easier to see what the
Reports facility can offer.
Because Training mode is always available
(from the Copyright screen when you logon) you can drop into it at any time to try out any unfamiliar procedure, secure in the knowledge that you will not affect your working data, this is particularly useful on those occasions when you need to employ temporary help.

We like happy users, for the simple reason that they tell their colleagues

very large proportion of our sales come through recommendation. Crucial to this
is a reliable product and a responsive Helpline. Careful, friendly design, together with extensive and
extremely comprehensive on-screen Help
ensures that the level of user support required with MidexPro
is absolutely minimal, and many years experience has proved this to be the
case.
But, however intuitive and easy to use a software package
may be, some time or other you will have a question you need answering,
when this happens please don't hesitate to contact our Helpline - you will get a prompt and comprehensive response.
The Helpline telephone, fax and e-mail details are given
in the MidexPro Help system. Our many testimonials from
happy users are a tribute to the effectiveness of our Helpline.

WebUpdate
|
MidexPro's WebUpdate facility is
an integral part of our support package. From within MidexPro you just
click on the WebUpdate button and MidexPro will connect
to our web
site, interrogate it to see if there is a more recent version of the
software available and if so download it and update your MidexPro
- all automatically.
This makes it so easy to keep your
software up to date with the latest improvements, update as frequently
as you like (about once every 6 weeks is recommended).
It also means that we can be extremely
responsive to changes required by insurers or requested by you the user,
as even relatively small changes can be distributed rapidly and at low
cost. |
Support fee
|
To be able to use our Helpline and WebUpdate
facility requires payment of an annual support fee of 15% of your system price
(your first 6 months are free). Remember this annual support fee
includes not only Helpline support but includes all product updates
which are available to you at any time via our WebUpdate facility.
Our support charge is so low because
experience has shown we have to provide very little support. We find
that Microsoft Office, hardware or printer problems or system changes like moving to a new
computer are the main reasons for contacting the Helpline, so
this fee is largely for providing you with improvements to the software.
If you let your support lapse and later
want it re-instating you will have to pay all back support fees. The
analogy is with car insurance, you are not allowed to start a new policy
after you bend your car, your policy must be in place before you have the
accident!
